January 13th, 2012. Burrard Public House
After my first encounter at Burrard Public House I had definitely wanted to come back. So…..here I am to try some more food!
The first appetizer to come out were these Fresh Flash Fried Potato Chips tossed with Cajun Spice and served with Chipotle Aioli. Great crisp on the chips, and great flavor in the aioli. This one is a winner.
And these Calamari were also pretty awesome 😉 Dusted with seasoning and served with a cool tatziki, these hit the spot.
This Braised Beef Chili came with a Parmesan Crostini and Sour Cream. Super flavorful, nice and meaty, and the sour cream was a nice touch. Not your traditional chili…but pretty fantastic!
The otherr main? Beef Meatloaf. Layered with roasted red peppers, mushrooms, and wrapped in proccuitto and a paprika tomato demi served with rigatoni tossed in a “virgin” sauce and seasonal veggies. Rich, yummy, and hearty. Another winner!
